Secondary Implementation Site
Puerto Aguadulce
The planned secondary FoilDock Panama facility — located in the Gulf of Panama to serve the Panama Canal vessel corridor.
Puerto Aguadulce
FoilDock Panama’s planned secondary installation in Port Aguadulce provides strategic access to the Gulf of Panama and the Panama Canal shipping corridor — the world’s highest density maritime traffic zone for large commercial vessels nearing end-of-life.
Puerto Aguadulce is located in the Gulf of Panama, in the Province of Cocle, positioned to intercept the high volume of vessel traffic transiting the Panama Canal from both the Pacific and Atlantic corridors. The site’s central Pacific position ideally places it for post-transit vessel recycling — capturing vessels at the end of their final canal journey.
This site represents FoilDock Panama’s Phase 2 expansion strategy, extending the operational model established in Puerto Armuelles to create a multi-site, networked, compliant recycling platform across Panama’s Pacific coast.
FoilDock Panama's site selection strategy prioritises deep-water access, proximity to major shipping lanes, and alignment with Panama's industrial development zones — ensuring long-term operational viability and regulatory support.
